ZAMBEZA – BLUE SPIDER: THE UNION OF TWO CANNABIS CHAMPIONS

Blue Spider is a crossing of two classic strains that are both appealing in their own right. The first set of genes comes from White Widow, a strain that has won numerous awards over the last 20 years, including 1st prize at the Cannabis Cup in 1995. The second, Blueberry, is considered by many to be the gold standard for US varieties, and its creation dates back to the 1970’s. Blue Spider is the perfect blend between these two strains, and remains sativa-dominant.

This strain is highly stable and a good choice for both indoor and outdoor growing. When grown indoors, one can expect typical heights of 80-110cm, and yields of up to 350-450g/m². Blue Spider can get huge outdoors, with overall heights of 170-230cm, and yields of up to 450-550g per plant. It’s an uncomplicated strain that grows vigorously, and finishes its flowering period after 55 days. Novice growers and experts will both get excellent results.

Blueberry contributes a lot in terms of flavours, and passes its fruity berry taste on to Blue Spider. One still finds some of the more spicy influences of White Widow within the taste, but the sweetness of Blueberry is more pronounced and clearly dominates the aroma profile. Smokers can primarily expect a happy high, with some euphoric elements, together with a relaxing Indica stone as time progresses and larger quantities are consumed. THC levels were tested at 18%.
